Anis is a performer, entrepreneur, and general firestarter. Having lived across Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai and now based in London, she’s spent 25+ years turning ideas into realities—first in media and publishing, now in film and theatre.
She co-founded the media platform Development Post, closed commercial deals across industries from tech to luxury, and has a talent for getting creative work funded, pitched, and off the ground. As an actor, she’s got range: honest, instinctive, and funny as hell. Comedy is her home base, but she’s just as at ease cracking hearts open as cracking people up.
She believes in telling bold, specific stories—and she knows how to get them made.
Jennifer Kapila
Jen is a Texas-bred London-based creative drawn to borderlands and fusion. Her outlook was shaped early by travel, cross-cultural family life, and a habit of close observation. She’s less interested in where she “belongs” than in what different perspectives reveal.
A former investment strategist, she spent nearly a decade analysing global markets before turning her attention to story. Along the way, she co-founded Development Post, a media platform exploring global development through a creative lens—an experience that taught her how to move ideas into reality, and the value of assembling the right team.
Now working across writing, development, and creative production, Jen is drawn to stories that invite reflection or offer hope, whether through unexpected love, dark comedy, or speculative fiction.
